Christians: How would you rebut this?

Okay, so the appendix is a vestigial organ, yeah? And God being, not just a creator, but a DIVINE creator wouldn't have shoved a little sock-thing inside us with no purpose. So we must have needed our appendixes at some point but EVOLVED out of needing them. Isn't that pretty unbeatable evidence toward evolution?
