My Brother Just got a General Discharge!!! Can I get some Advice?

An honorable discharge would have been better but this shouldn't stop him from getting into law enforcement. He will need to explain his action/inaction and what he would do differently given the same cirstance again. The biggest parts of entering a career as an LEO is honesty and integrity. Smarts count for a lot but an administrator shouldn't ever hire an officer if their honesty and integrity are already in question.
