I can't join friends Xbox parties or MW2 matches. NAT is open.?

its a internet connection problem modernware fare pares you by ping 40ping 50 ping i have a 50 pings so they pair me with people who the same ping or lower.. but your internet connectoin must be bad not able to connect or anything.
