Light beer .. is it worth it?

I personally can't stand it, but I admit there are times I want a cold beer without a buzz, especially in the summer. Y'all think I should get 24x12oz bottles of Coors Light for 14.99 or 12x24oz cans (same content) of Lone Star Light (3.8% ABV) in cans for 9.99 (Cost is coming to play as a case of my favourite domestic, Dogfish 90, would be a LOT more ..)
