In lobbies, I've seen large round padded benches where people face outward. What are they called?

The benches usually have tufted or diamond patterned upholstery like restaurant booths, but everyone faces outward, and the top of the back is covered with a circular flat surface. The TV show Angel had one, and I believe they were featured on In The City.
