How can I get them out of my apt?

Like an idiot I sublet my apt when I couldn't pay the rent. The lease was going to be up in four months and the guy was supposed to add his name to the lease to eventually have me removed and take it over. Well he did not add his name, claims he has no driver's license for doentation (he's a cab driver). Well he is living there and moved in his girlfriend and her kids. They pay rent late every month and my landlord sends it to a lawyer for eventual eviction. This is when they finally pay rent. My landlord does not know they are there so it will fall on me. I want them out. What can I do? He says that since his name is on the electric and cable, he does not have to move.
