How do I get rid of this smell?

On Sundays I make pancakes and sausage for the kids. The problem is the smell! I clean up the entire stove top, the hood and I have even cleaned the inside of vent! It will smell up the kitchen and family room for like 4 hours after I make it! I have tried Febreeze and oust does not help. I am grateful for all suggestions.
