M Effects DRM and changing computer parts?

I have ME for the computer, bioware version. If I install the game, And then say switch a video card. Will I have to use another authentication on M Effect? What bout I if switch motherboards but use the same hard drive without erasing anything? i read that the game authenticates itself to a computer set-up. But if that set up changes by say switching a part, Then the game reads it as a new computer and You need to use another authentication. What is the dealio?
