NEWEST Yankee Rumors?

I think the Yankees will offer Johnny Damon a one year contract. Unless he really wants to stay with the Yankees, Damon could probably get a better offer from some where else. I don't think the Yankees will sign Mike Cameron, since he's 36 and not that good. Melky Cabrera will probably stay at center field. Austin Jackson is a good player and I predict him to be called up to the majors by June. If Melky is struggling, they will probably split time at center field. I think the Yankee's big signing this year will be John Lackey. I don't think the Yankees will sign Matt Holliday, since the Cardinals would also be offering a lot. I think it's up to Halladay if he wants to go the Yankees. The Yankees probably won't want to give up Joba or Hughes for him, so Halladay would probably have to ask to be traded to the Yankees.
